Terms and Conditions

By filling out the “Host an Event“ form, you are agreeing to the following terms. Anyone reserving the venue must read and review the terms and conditions provided on this page. The following terms and conditions are subject to change at anytime and remain valid if changed. These terms and conditions still apply if/once changed, whether you have signed and filled out the “Host an Event” Form before or after said improvements or changes.

It is of vital importance that you read the terms and conditions in their entirety. The Yellow House in Logan is not responsible for any participant’s unawareness or understanding of these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with our terms and conditions you must speak with us before making any booking.

Reserving the Venue

  • You are responsible for handling, with extreme care, all equipment and property belonging to The Yellow House.

  • You are liable and responsible for any damage of equipment, or to the venue itself, that occurs while your event is held. As well as any items that are stolen or go missing during the event.

Cleaning Post Event

  • You are fully responsible for cleanup of the area you have reserved and/or used, including all trash and personal belongings removed from the property.

  • By filling out the reservation application, you agree to complete all checkout and cleaning tasks. Please review the Cleaning Checklist and make any necessary arrangements.

Reservation and Payment

In order to officially hold your reservation, you must pay the full amount below.

  • $35/hour + $200 security deposit (which is returned after your event if all fees are paid, no damage has occured, and terms and conditions have been upheld).

  • PLEASE NOTE: Reservations requested within a week of intended event are $50/hour

  • Please Note: You have NOT reserved the venue UNTIL form is filled out and payment + deposit are received.

  • When reserving please account for setup AND sufficient clean up time.

  • If time reserved is exceeded, cost is rounded to the nearest hour, per hour, along with a minimum $10 fee per hour.

  • Any requested change to your reservation time within a week of your event is $50 per additional hour.

  • A late fee of at least $50/per day will be charged to you if payment is not paid in full at least a week prior to your event. This fee is subject to raise/change at anytime.

Sound and Lighting

  • A sound and lighting technician, provided by us, is an additional $45 per hour.

  • We cannot insure a sound/lighting technician will be available.

  • Please make sure all lights and equipment is turned off before leaving building.

  • Sound and Lighting fees are due at least a week prior to Reservation. A late fee of at least $50/per day will be charged to you if payment is not paid at least a week prior to your event. This fee is subject to raise/change at anytime.

What to Expect

  • We are a self-entry venue, monitored remotely. It is likely no one will be on the property at the time of your reservation (although this is not always the case).

  • You will receive a temporary code to enter the morning of your reservation. This code may, at times, be sent earlier but is not to be used until your reserved time.

  • If code is used to enter the building outside of your reserved time (5 min grace period before and after event), you will be charged a minimum fee of $50 for each use. This fee is subject to change at anytime.

    *If you do not receive a code, please text “CODE” to the same number received after filling out form.

  • You are to enter the venue through the front entrance.

  • Most likely, no one will be there to greet you. The building is under full 24/7 high security and surveillance. Someone is always on standby, close by.

    Parking

  • We do not offer private parking. You may park in any public parking available. There is a large commercial lot across the street.

  • DO NOT PARK in any parking spots located behind The Yellow House. May may pull around to unload supplies but are not to park here.

  • We do not provide private parking and are are not responsible for any fees or other inconveniences due to parking.
